The campervans

1. How high are the vans?

The T3/T4 models with a pop top roof are 2,20m. The T2 pop top is about 2,10m so be careful with parkings, gas stations, tunnels etc.

2. Can we install child seats?

Yes, our vans are fitted with rear seatbelts (lap belts), so with an extra separate belt you're able to install child seats.

Child seats are available for hire.

3. Can I connect my iPod or MP3 player in your camper vans?

Yes, our radio / CD players have an iPod connection. Do remember to bring your USB connection cable.

4. Can I smoke in your vans?

NO! We have a strict no-smoking policy!

5. Can I plug in my own GPS/navigation system?

Our camper vans are equipped with a standard 12v connection.

6. Is there a radio/CD player in the camper vans?

Yes, all the vans have a radio/CD player.

7. Do the campervans have a shower?

No, our Volkswagen van do not have a shower. You'll need to go to a camping or campervan parking facilities for a shower. Please note that not all campervan parkings have shower facilities.

8. How many people do the vans sleep?

All our vans can sleep 4 people.

Depending on the T2 type, the T2 sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids or up to 4 adults. It has a 'rock'n roll bed' (that pulls out from the rear) and either 2 additional bunks in the pop up roof section and over the front seats or a double bed in the pop up roof.

The T3 and T4 models sleeps up to 4 adults (or 2 adults and 3 young kids). They have the rock'n roll beds and a double bed in the pop up roof.

9. Is there room for all my baggage?

The vans are compact but you'll find the space for your baggage. Nevertheless we recommend the use of sports bags instead of suitcases.

Driving the campervans

1. What is the maximum speed of the camper vans?

Maximum speed is 120 km/h. For everyone's comfort, we recommend to not exceed 100-110 km/h on the motorway and 80-90 km/h on other routes with the T3/T4 models and to not exceed 90 km/h with the T2. And of course we ask you to respect the speed limits at all times!

2. How is driving in the mountains?

Because of the weight and engine (T2 model) it will take you a bit longer... but you'll get there! Just listen to the van, respect our instructions and everything will be fine. And well, you're on holiday... so what's the rush?

3. What's the average fuel consumption of the vans?

The average fuel consumption of a Volkswagen T2 is: 10-12 L / 100 Km.

The average fuel consumption of a Volkswagen T3 is: 10-12 L / 100 Km.

The average fuel consumption of a Volkswagen T4 is: 8-10 L / 100 Km.

On the road

1. What do I do in case of accident?

Call us immediately and if needed call the road side assistance. Important: do not have the camper van repaired without our approval.

2. Where to park with the campervan? Any restrictions?

In France, it's allowed to park almost anywhere without any authorisation. But especially in summer be sure to check and make sure.

We recommend to spend the night at campings, at campervan parking facilities or use our France Passion membership (wine-growers and farmers invite you to stay with them for free).

Otherwise, campervan sanistations are an option as well. Click here for a full listing of European sanistations.

For your security, we highly discourage overnight parking at motorway parkings.
